RegenLight is a mobile headlight restoration service. We travel to your location within our service area and restore oxidized, yellowed, or hazed headlight lenses using a sand, polish, and seal process, finished with a UV-blocking ceramic coating.
Service area: San Ramon, Danville, Pleasanton, and Dublin, California, and other locations we confirm in writing.
Standard timing: most restorations take approximately 60 minutes on-site, depending on vehicle and lens condition.
Solo operator: RegenLight is owner-operated. Scheduling reflects real-world availability, and arrival windows are estimates, not guaranteed exact times.
Our standard $150 headlight restoration includes:
Restoration of both front headlight lenses on one vehicle.
Multi-stage wet sanding to remove oxidation and surface damage.
Machine polishing to restore clarity.
On-site service at your confirmed address, weather and access permitting.
The flat $150 price covers both front headlights only. The following are not included and are quoted separately, when offered:
Fog lights are not included in the standard service.
Tail lights, signal / marker lights, and interior lens work are not included in the standard service.
Headlight tinting is a separate service and is not part of restoration.
Replacement parts, bulbs, wiring, sealed/assembly units, and any mechanical or electrical repair are outside the scope of restoration entirely.
Booking: services are booked online or by confirmed message. A booking is not final until you receive confirmation from us.
Payment on completion: this is a pay-on-site service. Payment is due in full the moment the work is finished, before we leave — see Section 5.
Vehicle access: you must provide safe, legal, reasonable access to the vehicle at the confirmed address, including space to work and, where needed, access to power or shade. If we cannot safely access or work on the vehicle, the appointment may be treated as a no-show under the Cancellation & Reschedule Policy.
Weather: restoration requires workable conditions. We may reschedule for rain or unsafe weather at no penalty to either side.
Price: the service is a flat $150 for both front headlights, unless a different price is confirmed in writing before service.
Payment is due on completion: this is a pay-on-site service. You pay no deposit and are not charged upfront. Payment in full is due as soon as the restoration is complete and you've had the chance to review the result — before we leave your location. Service is provided on the express understanding that you will pay in full at that time.
Accepted payment methods: we accept cash and the instant digital methods listed at booking (for example, [Zelle / Venmo / Cash App / tap-to-pay]). We DO NOT store card information. “I'll pay you later” is not an accepted payment method — payment is expected at completion unless we've agreed otherwise in writing beforehand.
Taxes & travel: the price is $150 as stated before. Any applicable taxes or travel fees, are already calculated within the flat price of $150.
Non-payment
Refusing to pay for completed work is a serious matter. By booking, you agree to the following if you fail to pay after we've performed the service:
It is a breach of this agreement. Accepting the completed service and then failing to pay the agreed price is a breach of contract, and may also constitute theft of services under California law.
Interest on unpaid balances: any unpaid balance not paid at completion accrues interest at the maximum rate allowed by California law (up to 10% per year on a written contract) until paid in full.
Collection & legal costs: if we have to take steps to collect an unpaid balance, you agree to pay all reasonable costs of collection we actually incur, including court filing and service-of-process fees, and, in any court action where attorney's fees are recoverable, our reasonable attorney's fees. See Section 10.
Legal action: we pursue unpaid balances, including through small claims court. Avoiding, hiding from, or refusing payment after service does not cancel the debt — it only adds the costs above to what you owe.
Headlight restoration dramatically improves clarity on the large majority of lenses. It is a cosmetic and functional refinishing process, not a guarantee of a factory-new lens, and results vary with the age and condition of the lens.
Deep internal fogging, interior condensation, cracks, pitting, and damage on the inside of the lens cannot be corrected by exterior restoration.
Severely degraded, previously restored, or brittle lenses may show improvement short of a fully clear finish.
We'll always tell you honestly, before we begin, if we expect a lens to fall short of a full restoration.
We stand behind our work. If you're not satisfied with the restoration at the time of service, tell us before we leave and we'll make it right — here's exactly what that means.
Point-of-service fix: if you're not happy with a lens when we finish, raise it before we leave the appointment. We'll re-work the lens on-site where reasonably possible.
If we can't reach your expectation: where a result can't be improved because of the underlying condition of the lens (for example, interior damage or advanced degradation), we'll explain why, and we may adjust or waive the charge for that lens at our discretion.
What the guarantee is not: the guarantee covers the quality of the restoration itself. It is not a promise to correct pre-existing damage, replace parts, or refund for reasons unrelated to our workmanship. It does not stack on top of the separate 3-year coating warranty — each covers different things.
Provide accurate contact, vehicle, and location information at booking.
Be reachable around the arrival window and ensure someone can grant vehicle access if needed.
Disclose known issues with the lenses or vehicle before we begin.
Confirm you are the owner of the vehicle or are authorized to approve service on it.
Avoid washing, wiping, or exposing the freshly coated lenses to harsh conditions during the cure period we describe on-site.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, RegenLight's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service — ordinarily $150. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for pre-existing conditions, hidden defects, or damage that was present before we began work and recorded in the Vehicle Condition portion of the Liability Waiver & Warranty Agreement.
Talk to us first: we both agree to try to resolve any dispute directly and in good faith before taking any other action.
Recovery of costs & fees: if either of us has to bring a legal action to enforce this agreement — including to collect an unpaid balance — the prevailing party is entitled to recover its reasonable costs, including court and service fees and, to the extent a court allows attorney's fees to be awarded, its reasonable attorney's fees. Under California Civil Code § 1717 this right applies to both sides.
Venue: any unresolved dispute will be handled in the state courts located in Contra Costa County, California, or in small claims court where eligible.
Governing law: these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Entire agreement: these Terms, together with the Cancellation & Reschedule Policy and the Liability Waiver & Warranty Agreement, are the entire agreement between us and replace any prior understanding.
Severability: if any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
Electronic acceptance: checking the acceptance box on our website or typing your name as a signature has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature under the federal E-SIGN Act and California's Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA). You agree we may keep an electronic record of your acceptance, including date, time, and related details.
Changes: we may update these Terms for future bookings. The version you accept at the time of booking governs that job.
Contact: questions about these Terms can go to regenlights@gmail.com or (760) 333-7716.
RegenLight accepts your agreement to these Terms electronically at booking. You do not sign a paper copy. Instead, at the final step of the booking form you check a required box confirming you agree to these Terms of Service, the Cancellation & Reschedule Policy, and the Privacy Policy before your booking can be submitted.
What you're agreeing to. By checking the acceptance box and submitting your booking, you confirm that you have had the opportunity to read these Terms, that you agree to be bound by them, that you are the owner of the vehicle (or authorized to approve service on it), and — importantly — that you will pay the agreed price in full when the service is complete.
Our record of your acceptance. Under the federal E-SIGN Act and California's UETA, checking the box has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature. For each booking we keep an electronic record that includes the name and contact details you entered, the date and time you accepted, the fact that the acceptance box was checked, and the version of these Terms in effect on that date. That record is your signature.
